Judging from your nickname, I'm assuming you're interested in HC banking or sth? If you're a bio/finance double major, it should be easier to make the case that you're interested in the HC space and therefore HC IBD. Other than that, I can't see an immediate advantage for you doing a bio major at least strictly in terms of getting into IB.

 

I'm doing a double major in food science & finance so I guess we're in a similar boat (except that I'm graduating this sem). For me, I've always known that I don't want to do research or lab work, but I am still interested in the area of study. I think studying science helps me to be more hypothesis driven and analytical, while at the same time giving me an advantage in understanding industries that are more technical.

I'm sharing my opinion as someone who's aiming for consulting; so take it with a grain of salt :)
