Corporate Banking to Consulting?

Hi everyone!

I'm currently a senior who just interned with a BB and was given a FT offer for a corporate banking position. I've always wanted to go into consulting but failed most interviews back when I was a junior looking for internships.

I'm hoping to eventually move back to consulting but it seems COVID has hit consulting firms pretty hard and many firms are no longer recruiting. Recruiting in itself is stressful and it's been a while since I've done a case.

How likely is it to even land a FT consulting gig in this environment with little preparation as of right now?

Would it be possible to jump to consulting, whether it's MBB or T2 firms, after spending some time in corporate banking?
