Applied for FT associate in early July, got first round late July, had my final round last Thursday and received offer the next day. Pretty sure they do it in batches so if you applied later I wouldn’t worry yet.
I both networked and go to a target, but IMO networking doesn’t really matter. If you go to a non target though you may need to network to get your foot in the door but keep in mind the specific office doesn’t matter as much since transfers are easy at LEK. The key thing if you get a first round is to nail the case and perform to their standards, as you’re not as much competing with others at this stage but more to a certain standard based on the number of slots available. If you’re recruiting for consulting this cycle, keep in mind that MBB overhired FTs last year so it’ll be almost impossible to get your foot in the door there (places like LEK didn’t) but overall the market is still recovering so expect a higher benchmark that you’ll need to reach for an offer. Good luck!
Thanks for the info! I'm 0/2 (and expecting to pick up the McK L this week), so definitely feeling the hurt there. Go to a southern T20 so semi-target, networked with one person and applied pretty quickly after the deadline. Not expecting a lot lol.
Hard to say, but does anyone have a rough estimate of how many spots have already been filled by interviews earlier this summer and/or interns being given returns?
they do it in batches... so mon-friday interviews and friday late afternoon/night they let those in the batch who go an offer know. The others are either waitlisted/rejected a few weeks later
Had R1 for SF on the 31st and got a call on the 1st saying I got into the final round. Had the final round this past Thursday then got the offer call in the afternoon on Friday. For reference I sent in my application pretty close to the deadline, but they are interviewing in batches so they could still be conducting interviews/reviewing applications.
You get a pretty straightforward quant case, and a strat case. Typical profitability-esque problems, but the pace in which you answer the questions is important (as they're 15 minute cases) and you need to quickly find the insights that drive you to the recommendation. Make sure you present your answers in a logical way and stay MECE.

Since LEK’s rolling, anyone have an idea of how long it takes to hear back on interview status?
A friend heard back in 1wk, had r1 last wk. Been 2-3wks since I applied, no word
Do you know how long it took to hear back after your friend's round 1 interview?
rejected for FT but expected since needed visa sponsorship
Same boat. Also, got rejected due to sponsorship.
lmao the way LEK posted a new recruiting event but hasnt sent updates to applicants… the audacity
Had a first round interview about two days ago. Haven't heard back.
Have you heard back yet? Just had my R1 and am curious about response timeline
Got the final round. Heard back about 2-3 days after R1.
I applied July 13, still haven't heard anything back yet

How were you WRT networking/target school? I don't have a good grasp on LEK recruiting.

Spoke with a recruiter today, they're still actively reviewing applications.
Could you share which recruiter? (Initials or name is fine)
Is recruiting done by school?
Heard back from a recruiter today. They're still evaluating apps and will be extending interviews in mid September.
Which office? Or it's across the board
Hard to say, but does anyone have a rough estimate of how many spots have already been filled by interviews earlier this summer and/or interns being given returns?
Has anyone heard about decisions after the final rd interviews this week?
I also did my final round this Monday but haven't heard back
i interviewed wednesday and got a call friday at 6 pm with the offer
which office?
they do it in batches... so mon-friday interviews and friday late afternoon/night they let those in the batch who go an offer know. The others are either waitlisted/rejected a few weeks later
Where do you know this from?
Interviewed FT final round for NY last Thursday and have not heard back
Did your check your application status and what did it say
I'm assuming if we haven't heard back yet, even for first-round interviews that it's basically a rejection at this point?
Expecting the same, applied almost 2 months ago at this point
Has anyone heard back from the Atlanta office (FT 2024)? If so, when did you apply? Same for LA and SF. Curious to see

For those who interviewed for R1, how were your experiences like, and how were your R1 cases?
You get a pretty straightforward quant case, and a strat case.
