Strategic Pathways to C-Suite/board member Career Transition

I'm interested in reaching the C-suite/board advisor level, and I would greatly appreciate your guidance on this. Could you share some of your knowledge with me? What key skills do you consider essential, and what certifications or development programs should I pursue?
I found someone from LinkedIn who could be a role model https://www.linkedin.com/in/nicolegp/de ... perience/; however, I would love to know what skill exactly is needed to achieve that. e..g I don't like MBAs since they are not that customizable for specific subjects with really targeted objectives, so MBAs are out of this.
my background: I have been working in the cybersecurity industry for 5+ years in different roles such as penetration tester, CSRT ( cybersecurity red team ), python developer II, and currently cybersecurity consultant under the information security directorate division. ( this is the last job I will do before moving to full-time ventures )
my current activities:
- Establish and monitor vulnerability mitigation plans across multidisciplinary teams
- Participation and support in Information Security projects that require your advice and experience.
- Promotes a customer-centric culture to deepen customer relationships and leverage extensive relationships within the company
- Providing advice and guidance on Information Security to avoid future vulnerabilities.
- Support cost-benefit analysis to mitigate risks to acceptable levels.
- Building strategic alliances with internal and external personnel and colleagues in different HQs to have an open forum for the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of the functions in charge
- Understand the Company's risk culture and how risk appetite should be considered in daily activities and decisions.
