T&R Exits

Any insight on BRG T&R and where they sit in the hierarchy with FTI, Alix, and A&M?

I was told straight up by an MD at another T&R practice that he has had SAs come in for 1-2 years and exit to RX banking, which is more in line with want I want to do. Is this a true exit? I’m assuming private credit has to be another exit from T&R given the record amount of DDEs that sponsors are inflicting on PC backstopped financings.

Yes - seen many folks move from advisory to IB, and vice versa. A lot of the same skill sets developed in either side. Lots of exits to PC as well, and some to PE. Totally feasible after 1-2 years at a reputable shop to jump to a bank.

As I understand it, BRG has a strong name - maybe a T2 relative to alix or A&M, but well known and recognized in RX.

Thank you for this — what does comp usually look like at a SA level? $125K base plus 60-70% bonus?

I think base should be higher - most guys I know made like ~150k at SA. Bonuses on an ok year 50-70%, could be substantially higher in a gangbusters year
