Does anyone know if there is a Rosenbaum equivalent for equity research? (textbook with best practice walk through of ER process)
I'm wondering if anyone knows of an equivalent to the Rosenbaum but for Equity Research(/asset management)? I'm basically looking for something that would walk through the best practice on how the equity research process would take place (e.g. in Bulge Bracket).
In a similar vein, does anyone know of a course in the style of Break Into Wall Street or WSO but focussed on equity research/asset management?

There is no such thing as BIWS / WSO for asset management. For ER, BIWS / WSO equally applicable, just the modeling is on average less in depth than in IB (with caveat of crazy-modeling type senior analysts, picture Ben Affleck in The Accountant)
Thanks for the response on this. Ah, that's a shame they are great resources.
Is this a book you'd recommend as being a similar quality to the Rosenbaum after having read it yourself? Agreed, that the modelling is still applicable and I'm working through this anyway, but great to hear the insight from people in the industry too that the Rosenbaum offers, and to have a full walkthrough of the process!
I never read Rosenbaum, so I cannot comment. Just self-taught modeling using BIWS and James Valentine worked in SS ER so yeah I'd think he knows what he is talking about and got some good tips in the book.

Survival Kit for an Equity Analyst: The Essentials You Must Know by Shin Horie
Just came out, pretty good - covers just about everything (and written by ex-head of GS Asia research)
Hey just following up, have you read this book? Doesn't seem to have many reviews, but seems like the author's background is great.
Is there anywhere you can find examples (with solutions) of the modelling expected required for ER interviews?
Best Practices for Equity Research Analysts: Essentials for Buy-Side and Sell-Side Analysts
Book by James Valentine
It is quite comprehensive but you would still need to read other books, reports, etc to learn more about the markets etc
