Market compensation ER associate in Europe
Hello everyone,
I am currently interviewing for an ER associate role at a boutique bank in Europe. I will soon have my HR round where I will have to discuss my salary prospect. So before I get into this difficult conversation, I wish to have a better understanding of the current market compensation in Europe. I have almost three years of experience in this field, but at a much smaller firm.
If it helps,

Hi [dickthesellsider],
Thank you, it was quite helpful, even though the imformation on Associate in ER Europe was limited. By the way, you have an interesting website out there, so thank you for that too. Much appreciated.
From what I have heard
GS/JP/MS
1st year 70k base
2nd year 75k base
3rd year 80k base
Other BBs
1st year might be 60k, probably increases by £5k increments each year.
Beyond 3rd year compensation is much more what you're role actually is as opposed to where you work, i.e. are you covering companies or still assisting your senior analyst's coverage etc. Ofc small crappy boutiques like Singer/Zeus/Liberum will always pay much less than street.
