Please help - Completed a masters in finance

I completed a masters in finance almost a year ago but failed to secure a job in my field. Because of financial pressures I just had to move onto whatever I could get to make a living. On Friday I wrote a Fund Manager explaining my situation. I didn't expect a reply as I haven't had much luck in that respect for a while. Lo and behold he emailed me back on Saturday asking to see my resume. I emailed it and on Sunday morning he wrote me back asking if I as available to speak. We spoke for about 45 minutes and he offered to invite me for an interview but first gave me the task of UPDATING 7 MODELS ASAP.

In the past I struggled with financial modelling and my skills have only become rustier because I was not working in my field. Can someone please help me to do this. I have a tremendous opportunity to change my life if this goes well.

Thanks very much. I hope I am posting in the correct section of WO. Thanks in advance.

Models is pretty broad. What kind of modeling? You should probably ask someone to walk you through updating them, so you learn. Either meet at a coffee shop or find someone on WSO to Skype. I may be wrong, but it sounds like you just want someone to do it for you, which wouldn't help. Updating models is generally plug and play.

Thank you for the comment. I really want to learn this skills and gain confidence. I think I will take your suggestion and try to meet someone to work on this together. If I can land this opportunity I want to be able to execute.

Thanks again
