Hi all,
I am currently interning at a regional sized bank in the midwest (~$45-50bn assets) within the commercial banking arm. I met some of the ER guys and there is a spot open in their group.
I believe there are 4 analyst and 1-2 PMs, the bank lumps this team into their PWM arm and they manage around $6-7bn.
How does it differ from more traditional ER roles at BBs and what would pay/exit opps look like?
Im hoping to relocate after graduation but this position would require me to stay in town which isn't what i prefer, but it seems like this is a golden opportunity to gain some experience and some buy side exposure.
Your role should influence how they put money to work. That's an exit opportunity for traditional ERs at BBs.
Sell-side exit to buy-side. Buy-side moving to sell-side happens but way less common.
