Bayview asset management

  1. Does anyone have any color on Bayview Asset Management in Miami and how well they're perceived in the mortgage investing space? Looking for more targeted feedback other than their focus, which, on the investment side is RV investing in whole loans (non-performing and re-performing), mbs, abs. How analytical is RV loan investing and different from a fundamental value perspective?
  2. Can anyone opine on a move there from a BB IB program out of NYC? And then also a possible transition into L/S equity or opportunistic credit HFs at a later point from bayview, (either in ny or mia)?
Appreciate any commentary and color. Feel free to PM if easier
