have an interview coming up with one of the partners for a position in distressed. i got the basic info from their website (employees, AUM, strategy, etc). anyone have additional information such as culture, track record, etc? thanks.

It's always interesting to hear how various hedge funds handle the interview process.

Personality: "I like sports"

Why HF: "I missed the private equity recruiting cycle."

Why distressed: "I was placed in the high yield group at my bank and these are the only interviews I'm getting."

Thoughts on the market: "He seems pretty depressed these days."
