Intern at HF that manages my trust fund?
Just found out I have a trust fund managed by a large Canadian HF. I also need a sophomore summer internship next summer. Do I ask my client rep at the fund to pass along my resume? Would this put my family in an awkward situation? Can the fund say no?

hedge fund is a very broad term
Not scummy so long as you don't use as a specific referee on resume. They'd probably give it to some preppy/diversity kid anyway so why not a client?

It’s an internship, I’m sure it’s fine. Bigger question is if the fund is a good one and what you want to do. Assuming it’s Polar or Waratah, which set you up for different things down the road
