Non-NYC P72 Academy

Been interviewing for a non-NYC American office (SF/CHI/Miami)

Can anyone provide some info on how the process differs? For people in the know, it'd also be helpful to hear how it's different from NY.

It doesn’t much, you would just be recruiting for a specific team in that location (not many teams are in CHI/SF) so your rotation and some pitches during academy would be pre-determined. Academy itself is in NYC for all offices

Good to know. For the interview process, it seems like there's another round after the coach round. Any thoughts on what that entails?

Probably speak to a sector head and to the PM(s) in the office you’re interviewing for. Also pretty standard for FT interviews

Also I have no perspective on the size of their operations in different locations. How many pods in NYC would you say and how many are in SF/CHI/Miami?

Maybe 10 max across SF/CHI, but NY/CT/MIA there’s a lot of teams split across offices, SF as well but not as much, which makes actually counting quite difficult. The majority are based in NYC/CT but an increasing number of PMs are moving to MIA while their teams stay up here
