I'm a computer science grad, looking to learn asset pricing. Anyone who can suggest a text on it? I'm aware of Cochrane's book, but it's becoming difficult to comprehend. Anything more basic that I can read?

anyone?
OP I cannot vouch for this particular course but Coursera has Asset Pricing classes they offer online for free (you have to pay if you want a certificate of completion). Here is the direct link: https://www.coursera.org/course/assetpricing
This Part I which is part of a broader series that covers the quantitative side of Asset Pricing. Since you mentioned you're a Computer Science major this may be appropriate for you.
I'll keep a look out for other books and or courses that can provide you with what you're looking for.
I was about to suggest the exact same thing. It's as if you foresaw my comment...
Thanks buddy!
