Investment/ Financial Markets Operations Exit Opportunities?

Hello,

I live in Southern Europe,I am 27 years old , degree in political science from a semi target British University and about to finish my master degree in Finance.

Right now for the covid crisis the unemployment rate is really high and I got an offer in a small bank in Milan, this bank can be as big as Cadence bank in the U.S. The job is in investment and financial markets operations, the salary is at least enough to live so i can't really say no to this opportunity since the economic situation is so bad.

For what I know so far my job will be in operations of  fixed income , equity, foreign exchange market, fixing, debt transfer among other responsibilities related to operations and financial markets. I am more of an analytical person so I would like to know the exit opportunities of this job. For now my plan is to take it and find something else in 2 years, when I will be an EU citizen so I will be allowed to move to other country with better opportunities.

So in summary , what exit opportunities will I have after this experience?.

A bit more about my background: While doing my bachelor degree I was an intern in political journalism at the BBC and I worked in financial management for a car factory in Germany. After graduation I got a job as a financial advisor for a big life insurance company (lets say Allianz) and when I started my master degree in Finance I got a 7 months internship in business and product  development for a big bank (let's say Citigroup) where I worked in the creation of structured products and  analyzed investment and pension funds. Then covid happened so I have been unemployed for almost a year, sometimes I work as an equity analyst for a small company whose owner is a friend of my dad but this job is not that serious and is something I do maybe  4 days  per month.
