It’s mostly cognitive games, think decision making, pattern recognition, etc. pymetrics game results are valid for the next 6 months, and will often apply for any other firms you apply at that require pymetrics, so really focus and give it your all, you won’t get a second chance. Good luck!

from what an analyst told me, it's a variation of "why blackstone", "why (your division you applied to)" "tell me about yourself" or "something that's not on your resume" and he said he got asked "whats a recent article/deal you read about Blackstone". hope that helps

I had the Global Campus Programs: Corporate Interview if anyone else had the same one? I'd assume there's different ones for different categories?

Only 4 questions. All straightforward. If you’ve done interviews before, you can certainly wing it.

Are the pymetrics interviews different for each group, I applied for a bunch of groups so I'm not sure which group the video interview pertains to

does anyone know if the video interview was selective or does everyone get it?

Same - applied only RE and have gotten one interview nearly a week after application.

I got one one for PE, Infra, and RE secondaries, but not RE acq that i submitted a few days later, wouldn’t be too worried yet. also given that it’s BX and those guys are always busy as hell i doubt they care too much abt watching a 4 minute hirevue. if i had to get i’d say it’s HR watching them but idk shit lmfao

If HR at all. There are an enormous amount of these videos to watch. Hirevue includes an AI score (which is dumb in itself) based on eye contact, intonation and other metrics, and a lot of companies just go off that.

As far as I can tell, the pymetrics stuff doesn't indicate which specific group it's for. From what i can tell a lot of people are waiting to hear from acquisition so I'd just sit back and wait till Monday. I'm sure ur fine!

Were you a part of the future women leaders/diverse leaders program? or no

Diversity, got a first round for PE. Anyone know if it's rolling or not for other groups (so if I didn't get notified for first rounds for e.g. SP or tac opps this time then did I get dinged?)

Diversity, had my first round for PE and heard back for a second round an hour later

Blackstone top deals summary, in depth summary of the firm - to help w/ interview prep - im thinking of creating this and posting to that @levfinance IG account page as the 1st post, to get the ball rolling.

Is this something you guys want? Would be helpful for those that interview to DM me and summarize the interview Q&A you got, including technicals, so that I can help the next round of folks too.

Anything else you want me to summary on Blackstone or to prep these SA interviews?

Gonna definitely synthesize now

1) Blackstone top deal

2) why blackstone - competitive strengths, what makes them unique

3) Job description - what will you be doing on the job? A summary w/ illustrations perhaps 🤔

I meant for a R1 lol. Everyone gets a hirevue. I told my friend to apply so he can see how stupid pymetrics are and he got a hirevue with a 3.0 gpa and an empty resume

there's two that I know of, "investment interview" and a "corporate interview" both are pretty similar but i think the investment one is a little more technical. i applied to pws and the only question that could've tripped someone up was "what's a recent blackstone deal you've followed", i had an answer ready so it went well for me.

Nondiversity, got another pyremetrics assessment. However, when I clicked it, it was just the same thing repeated so it autosubmitted my previous one. Not sure what that was about. Happened for both the games and interview.

What was first round like? Or anyone who knows about the bx credit process

anyone just hear from infrastructure for first rounds? if so, are you diversity or nondiversity?

if you did womens/diverse leaders, HR sent a blast w/ the supers you were invited to all on the same day

Anyone hear back for private credit? Got an email asking if I was interested in NY or SF but heard nothing since

when was your first round? I got an email from HR saying i’d have one this week but no follow ups. What was your first round like? Thanks!
