I'm not sure what you're talking about. I've never heard of a specific role where your only job is to serve on a credit committee. The people who vote on whether to commit or pass on a deal are senior employees on the banking, syndicate, portfolio, and risk teams. It's not their full time jobs. If you are a junior staffed on the deal you will be working on all phases of the deal (due diligence, modeling, deal memo, etc.). If you were in a DCM/LevFin or credit risk group you will attend these committees often. Hope that helps
