Former IB analyst at EVR/GS/PJT looking for advice on returning the industry or other career tips

Hey all - hope everyone had a great new year. I wanted to get the forum's advice on my personal situation. I graduated early from a T5 school (Stanford/Harvard) in '21 and spent around 6 months working as an analyst at a private-equity fund. I then joined FT as an analyst at an EB in M&A and even got a PE offer from a megafund but due to a family health situation (chronic disease diagnosis), I made the decision to quit in March of '23 and spend a year back at home in the Midwest caring for that family member and setting up long-term care plans. It's been pretty difficult to balance the toll of caring for said family member and also worrying about my career and I'm very worried that I won't be able to find work - I'm looking at starting to recruit again in February or March (will be exactly 1 year from when I quit) but wanted to get advice from the broader community? Do I just look for MM, local banks? Or maybe financial analyst roles at F500 larger companies? Do I focus on networking with alumni?

Thanks so much for the help.
