Thought Evercore was 3 years? Incoming Analyst though so might be wrong
Also an incoming analyst - posters below are correct. You have the option to stay on for a third year as a senior analyst, but unlike CVP, if you choose to leave after two years, which a majority of analysts do, they will not claw anything back
Evercore's analyst program is 3 years but your contract is for two years. After your 2 years are up, you get promoted to senior analyst, and then ASO.
OP here, thank you and that makes sense. I was a bit confused since PE associates who are Evercore alumni seemed to work there two years before exiting, but I thought it was a third year program.
Does anyone know how placement works? Do you recruit specifically for a group? Is the analyst program generalist?
You sign on as a generalist and then recruit for a specific group before your internship
but for Evercore, if I'm recruiting FT (not a returning SA) do I recruit for a specific group or do I do the placement process?
Analyst program is 3 years
It is 3. Source: worked there
It is 3. Source: worked there
What is the base pay for third year analyst? Curious

an1: 120, an2: 130, an3: 140
