Thank you, I will have a look into Zeus, are they any others you could name that I could look into? Also do you think it would be better to work for a firm such as Zeus doing investment banking or in transaction services at big 4 or rsm for example?
Another one off the top of my head is Clearwater. Tricky tbh, the boutiques are legit IBs so will pay considerably better then big 4, would take a boutique over anything outside big 4 anyday. Probably taking Boutique > TS but if its a lead advisory at big 4 its really up to you, would place the same I'd imagine.
If you go on Linkedin and put in the past company boutiques you find similar to named above up in Manchester will give you a good idea how they exit.
There’s DC Advisory, Rothschild, Clearwater and a few IM shops like Brewin Dolphin, Investec, etc. Rothschild used to do a recruitment dinner and events so might be worth checking them out. Generalists too and generally nice people and juniors went on to have great careers.

The only IB-esque jobs I'm aware of outside London are from Alantra, Rothschild (or rather Arrowpoint), and then some of the B4.
Rothschild Manchester office is Global Advisory, not Arrowpoint.
Mb!
Rothschild has also Global Advisory in Leeds. It's not Manchester but still the location you might consider as well

Another potential option could be A&M. They’ve started to build out a team in Manchester
