What EB has the highest caliber juniors/incomings?

We've all heard the horror stories of the likes of EVR/M&CO (if M&CO was ever an EB) having watered-down talent and increasingly taking on analysts from no-name schools. To switch to a brighter note, which EB consistently has junior talent with the highest-quality and most impressive pedigree (undergrad, boarding school, previous internships, GPA, campus involvement, rounded interests)?

I want to throw some names in the hat here and endorse CVP with PJT as a close second. Every single incoming CVP analyst/current junior I see on LinkedIn has top-tier credentials, closely followed by PJT as I saw a couple with more of a "meh" than a "wow" profile. I'm sure Qatalyst should be mentioned but they tend to take nerds/hardos as opposed to pure pedigree and rounded personalities.

CVP takes lots of non targets and kids who don’t know too much finance going into it. Not saying they’re not smart but probably not as polished as some other firms…

Such are the woes of diversity-driven recruiting efforts. CVP still stands as the last of the old guard, a first among equals if there are any equals at that. Kindly point to me another BB/EB on-par with CVP's junior pedigree if you have a counterpoint to present.

i generally agree with the sentiment that university name should matter (unless you’re in state full ride or something like that), but going to boarding school is the most unimpressive thing ever. When i see that I don’t think “wow, prestigous” i think “probably handed everything, has a retardedly innacurate worldview, and doesn’t have any creativity / perseverance,” as has been reinforced by my experience at a top target / group at top bank. And before you say anything i’m nondiverse and went to public school so didn’t have handouts.

When I see boarding school then top target I'm not impressed by it I just expect it. When I see boarding school then anything lower than top target I think they're pretty stupid.
