Which EBs allow WFH after 6-7pm? [2023]
See a lot of BBs let their juniors go home and WFH after 6-7pm. What's it like for EBs?
edit: Not sure why post keeps adding random countries in the region by itself. My question is on US offices.

I would assume that this is firm dependent but I would imagine most banks, unless you had some extremely neurotic associates and VPs, would let you WFH 6-7 PM onwards*
* assuming you aren't a first-year analyst, in which you should generally stay at the office later.
In my experience “allows you to go home at 7pm” vs “truly doesn’t care when you go home” are very different.
At my bank, there wasn’t a rule about it and you certainly could leave whenever, but doing it regularly was a fast track to a lower rank and VPs would report to the MDs who was typically there late vs leaving early. This was a MM so not relevant to the question, but just pointing out the distinction between formal policy and actual culture.
Would also note this is likely pretty group dependent as a few asshole VPs or MDs can ruin it for everyone
Would 9pm be considered too soon? (Again, not signing off just re-logging in from home). Assuming I don't have any decks that needs to be printed or last minute drills.
No lol, the office will be a ghost town by then.
Ah then it shouldn't be too bad :)
