BB Abroad or boutique in US?

I'm a sophomore who did PWM at a BB after freshman year.
I go to a non-target and have not gotten anything great so far.

Is it better to go to a low-tier BB (think Credit Suisse) in say india, or a boutique in the US-- SPECIFICALLY if I am trying to do IB at a BB in the US next year?

god i love the prestige-whoring on this site ("low-tier BB"), hasnt changed at all. I'd probably lean BB abroad if I were you as a sophomore, get some cool experience to talk about next year.

Go to the BB abroad. I think it will be awesome for someone to work in India, Singapore, Hong Kong etc.. But if you don't know the local language you will be at a disadvantage (not sure though).

Unless it's an ELITE boutique, BB overseas is clearly the choice. Unless you're from wherever "overseas" is (and have decent connections), I'm not sure why you think it'll be so much easier to get an internship at a BB there, especially considering you're a sophomore and coming in late in the process.
