Break into Corporate Restructuring W/ Back Office Background

Hi,

I have been interested in breaking into a role in Corporate Restructuring/Reorgs for some time now. My issue is that I graduated from a non-target school and my background is in PE and Real Estate PE Tax from a BB. I have also just been recently laid off. I am purchasing Wall Street Prep to polish my modeling skills. I am pretty well versed in Finance/Accounting and had a close to perfect gpa in school. I have also recently taken the GMAT and scored in the 99th Percentile. I have been looking at boutiques, MM shops, and TAS from Accounting firms. Any advice as to how I should proceed/position myself? Thanks in advance for your help.

Regards,

AD
