Finding a job without a Master's in Europe.
Hello everyone. I study at Bocconi and as I'm starting my second year (I'm getting an undergrad in Econ/Finance) I'm also trying to look around for opportunities to network and get some relevant experience on my CV. I'm also lucky enough because some friends of my family have worked for more than 20 years for big names before opening their own PE firm and hopefully I'll get a chance to leverage that and get some help get my foot in the door.
I believe it's also pretty wise to avoid counting on that too much, and I was wondering if it's a valid strategy to count on my bachelor and internships to get hired in Europe (hopefully London - I love it there -, but any actual european city wouldn't suck) or if that's naive and if I need a master's degree. I know Europe values master's degrees more than they do in the US, but I figured I should ask on here to hear your opinions.
I'm assuming doing an intership is a good shout and I should aim for one in a city I'd like to work in, do you have any suggestion about that, considering compensation as well as opportunities?
