How Meaningful Is it to Lateral Between Top US BBs / EBs?

I'm a senior analyst at J.P. Morgan and have been reached out regarding opportunities at Goldman Sachs and a couple of top EBs like Evercore and PJT.

My goal is to break into top PE within a year and a half to two years and was wondering whether exit opportunities would be meaningfully better at one of the above names to the point that it is worth moving. Goldman role would be in absolute top team (i.e. FIG / TMT)

I would say I am at least very above average amongst my analyst peers.

This is for London, but would suspect its similar in the US. Wouldn't mind living closer to the city or Mayfair.

1) PJT is nowhere near a top EB in London. They covered 4 M&A deals last year... Unless you get a boner thinking about Rx, don't go. Evercore isn't at JPM level either right now. Growing rapidly but still a while to go to get to top BB level in London.

2) GS might be worth it but I'm very biased. I'd be prone to take the offer but honestly, you're splitting hairs here, do you really want to uproot yourself at this point? GS top team will give you better odds but it really isn't night and day, maybe dusk and dawn?
