how to quit after 1 year

I received a private equity offer for summer '25 and the PE firm would now like me to start a year early given they just raised a fund and are understaffed. So I'm thinking about quitting my current IB analyst gig one year early. The people on my team know I have an offer, but they think I will be leaving summer '25.

What is the best way to go about quitting without burning bridges and receiving the full bonus? How soon after bonus hits do you quit? Would also like to know if I can maximize the vacation days before quitting. Does anyone have any experience with this type of scenario?

I would also appreciate some advice on why I shouldn't quit early and just finish the two years. I feel like my learning is tapering off and work has become more boring / less fulfilling, but if there's a good reason to stay (ex. MBA admissions / relationships / frowned upon etc.) then please let me know.
