HR Pet Peeve

It's really annoying when you interview for a position and you don't hear back from anyone from the firm. You send an e-mail and you don't get a response back and then you finally call someone and that person tells you weren't selected for the position. It really wouldn't hurt anyone in HR to send you an e-mail regarding the status of your candicacy. I think it's unprofessional to leave you hanging.

I had a similar experience...it was really really strange actually. I interviewed with Raymond James, really got along great with the guy, and just never heard anything. No response, nothing. To this day I don't know of anyone who got a call back. Hahaha, shit is annoying as hell sometimes, but keep your head up and keep it moving.

Yeah, true. It would be nice to receive a call regardless of receiving an offer or being turned down. But that also means that they would have to call back MANY people. In any case, like TheKing said, keep your head up and keep it moving.
