LLM in financial regulation and banking advice
hello fellow monkeys, to give you some background info, I am based in western Europe and i recently finished my degree in economics and finance with a average gpa from a decent university. After applying for various programs I have landed an LLM masters in financial law at a target business school in Europe which consistently sends people to top BB/EB or MM firms. To keep this post small this is currently my only option due to academic/financial and personal reasons which I cant get into here. I am leaning towards this masters now for 2 main reasons: 1) i can improve my gpa, so i can improve my chances in landing a better job and anMBA program (if I decide to go later in my career) 2) the university that offers this program is a target and I think given my background i can spin this degree into something interesting especially if I apply to restructuring or debt advisory positions. I plan to recruit mainly for London and Frankfurt. Do you think its doable? If anyone has went through a similar route can give some tips or advice it can be extremely helpful for me and others who read the thread. Thanks
