Return Offers- How We Feeling?

Seems like bulk of people's internships end tomorrow, which means return offer decisions. What are you guys thinking about your chances? For those who have already received decisions, comment your bank (or bank type), coverage group, office location, and estimated return offer rate. My group has underperformed like crazy in revenue compared to past years, so I think I may get the boot

Yeah it sucks but it's just life unfortunately. How you feeling? Do you hear your decision tomorrow as well?

If you stick with it till ASO you’ll be making considerably more money, by VP it’ll be multiples, don’t feel sorry for yourself.

This shift by consulting companies is so insane to me. Like, I get wanting to cultivate a positive attitude towards the company rather than a fear-based one, and having a guaranteed offer makes one a lot less likely to be willing to take the effort to re-recruit (whereas many banking interns hedge their bets by keeping the resume polished at the very least) etc etc.

But like, there are some interns who just aren't made for these lines of work. That is the honest to god truth, and by the end of a summer, surely companies know that for some people, neither party is really doing the other a favor by returning full-time. You really have to believe this doesn't shine a great light on the importance of juniors in the consulting business if the firms are totally willing to let juniors join after a terrible job in the summer internship lmao.
