SA Internships for Senior Year
Hello Monkeys,
Fairly late on the whole IB thing and I'm starting to stress out. I've had two Big 4 Accounting Internships in the past and now when I'm applying to IB's, I've realized they want more actual banking experience. So, I've been trying to find internship and co-op opportunities to get some banking experience on my resume, but I've had difficulty finding any. I am currently a Senior in college at a non-target (think Baruch/ Fordham/ UWash) in my last semester before I graduate.
So I have two questions:
-
Are there any shops that frequently hire Spring interns? Or any resources to find out which ones do?
-
Has any bank ever offered a non-traditional route for SA's? Like one where you would complete the SA role in your postgraduate summer as opposed to the summer before your senior year?
I know I sound fairly uneducated about the whole process, and while I may be ignorant, I am aware of how needle-in-the-haystack of the opportunity I'm looking for, is. I think I would be even more uneducated if I didn't explore every possible avenue in order to achieve what I want. Thank you in advance for all your criticism or your help.
Pm me
You’re gonna have to apply to Full Time/ Graduate programs. And I don’t mean graduate school, I mean programs for people who are about to graduate
Thank you very much, I just started looking through them. Looks like a lot of these positions aren't strictly investment banking and they're pretty tucked away. Can I PM you?
Sure
