This isn't a 'rank this!" thread, but rather one where the members say what program and institute they are/have studied at in Canada. Optionally, you can give a small line about ambitions and resume experience.
I will keep updating the list in the first post.

Looks like you can't edit the first post in a thread so I'll keep the list in this post >.
queen's commerce - IB or S&T, still thinking it through
One stupid little question... What does MD stand for? ... yes.. I am a newbie and I was trying search what it meant but couldn't really find out what MD stands for.
it's okay everyone starts somewhere. It stands for "managing director".
To add to that, the progression of positions in an investment bank typically goes Analyst -> Associate -> vice president -> MD and then from there it depends on if it is a partnership or a public bank or a division of a bigger bank etc.
Schulich:
MBA with a focus on finance
Resume experience:
1 year as a treasury analyst (I was in charge of maintaining the hedge effectiveness for the CDO/CMO/CFO portfolio)
2 years as CFO of a small start up (I left the banking world in 2008 since my division was sold off and my job becuase sending off 3 emails in the morning to the company who bought us and then watching youtube videos for the rest of the day)
1 year as a capital markets associate (came back to banking in 2010 once the market improved and the startup was sold)
