I was expecting it today, but it will happen in within this month. Hands down definitive. It's going to be scary to look at both the S&P and the Composite as they drop value. The SPX is under 1,000, which scares me, as it throws off a lot of the index option trading I do. The Nasdaq is looking to drop to 1500. We're going to see extreme lows this month. I'm calling the SPX will hit 825 before the year is out and the Nasdaq will fall another 500 to ~1100/1200.

basically the DOW falls to any news, regardless of the underlying implications.(well pretty much all the news has it pros and cons... both short term and long term) perhaps the fed's recent action is already too much for the market to handle, and that we should let the market begins to adjust itself from now on...

on another note, do you guys think the DOW is going to bottom out anytime soon? 9000? 8500? 8000?
