NYU 2023 Summer Housing: Which one to choose?
Hi All, I will be interning in NYC for this upcoming summer 2023, and am currently debating on which residences below I should reside at. I am a non-nyu student who knows nothing about NYU Housing or NYC. I want to meet people and make friends, as I don't know anyone in NY, and be close to bars and clubs if possible.
1 - Lipton Hall
2 - Brittany Hall
3 - Third North
4 - Lafayette Hall
5 - Gramercy Green
6 - Broome Street
Any thoughts/suggestions are appreciated! Thanks
I went to NYU...I'd say Brittany, Third North, Lipton, and Broome Street are all close to the action. Laf slightly too far downtown and Gramercy is slightly more uptown (23rd St)...good for Murray Hill but less convenient for going out in the LES or Village area.

Lipton is the best - but I would avoid NYU dorms and just try to find a short term rental in the area you want to be in.
Where would you recommend to look if searching for a short term rental? Airbnb?
Gramercy prob has the nicest rooms im guessing cuz for students they have nice doubles with kitchen
