Outside of your aum range but still lmm. 500m fund size ~1.8b aum. Tertiary city. All in comp first year aso is 150
That seems low for $500m fund size. I'm at a LMM firm with significantly less AUM and fund size and all-in first year is ~$150-175k. Btw, this topic has been discussed a few times recently on here.
It is low. They are known for underpaying and overworking
How about vp1?
Vp is about $350. Comp was bumped up as well to 200 for aso1

Sub-$200MM shop in secondary city. Same $150-$175k range all-in, with most of that from base salary. Progression is roughly the same as anywhere else, but less rigid. No 2-and-out policy or MBA required
This is for analyst or associate?

Definitely associate. Think $90k-$120k all-in for shops like this that offer analyst programs, which is the minority of them. No sub-$200M shop’s paying an analyst $175k in Dallas or Atlanta lol
T2 HCOL city and surrounding area. For <$500m funds, generally <$175k with $150k being pretty common across several datapoints and strategies such as growth, buyout, combo of equity and credit. Base tends to be >$100k.
For progression, LMM funds tend to be more open to career track, however by no means is it guaranteed so I would try to find some signals that suggest that this is feasible like the % of associates who are promoted to senior associate and senior associate to VP.
Can anyone comment on 500mm - 1.5b funds too?
Interested in figures for Sr. Associate and VP as well.
any info on LMM non chicago, midwestern funds (minneapolis, cleveland, pittsburgh, detroit areas)

Any insight on Houston or Dallas?
Wide range because there are a lot of small funds in TX, but the $150k-$175k range seems about right for this fund size. Can personally attest to friends making between $140k and $180k, with most in the $160k-$180k band
