JLL Brokerage Analyst
I am currently in college looking to work in the commercial real estate industry . I want to start in brokerage and was just wondering, how much does a JLL Brokerage analyst make per year?

Brokerage (Leasing) or Capital Markets? Also, which market?
Both. I’m not sure about the which specific market. If you could provide insight about each, I’d be grateful
It really all depends. I can't speak too much as to what brokerage would make. It really is all team dependent, but let's take LA or New York for example, these are both very strong teams. For a first year that does D/E placement, I would assume that they are making at least 100k but some along the lines of 130-140k. However, this drastically lowers depending on the market, team, or group.
You can make quite a bit ($100k+) your first year in major markets like LA/NYC, but you're going to get crushed. I have friends who work in the LA office (capital markets) and they are never home before midnight during the week.
Damn. That’s sad.
What about Texas and Florida market
Not really familiar but if you're in the Houston/Dallas or Miami markets, I doubt they would be a ton better.
$65k base seems to be the floor for institutional brokerage shops with a small bonus on top of that in Large areas of FL/TX. My first year out of UG I was at $75k with 10% bonus in a fairly large market with a good team. LA/NYC on top teams would likely be $90-100k base with bonus, but you’re working 70+ hours a lot of weeks.
Would you think SF/Chicago are the same as well?
Most likely. Honestly don’t know anyone at those offices so the culture could be totally different… but LA and NYC are both that way.
