I am currently a sophomore from a non target school in Florida and will be applying for the UBS Sophomore Symposium, as well as, interviewing for a PWM internship at UBS this summer. I was wondering if I could get some feedback as to the quality of my resume and cover letter (cover letter will be used for the symposium only). This is my first time making a resume and cover letter so any and all constructive criticism will be looked at. Thanks in advance.
I do not know who to address the cover letter too, or what address to use as I do not know the recruiter at UBS or who will be reading the cover letter. I will also include a recommendation from a senior exec. at UBS, as well as, one from the Dean of the Honors College at my school.

Before I leave you with my comments. I would like to say that this is a solid attempt for a first resume. My first resume and cover letter was a struggle and I had a lot of ppl to help me with. See below for some suggestions I have, enjoy.
Cover Letter - I don't want to sound mean, but it needs a lot of work. Sentences are awkward, and has awkward wording. I interned at UBS my junior year, and they offer many different services (I mean its a huge global bank!) - investment banking, retail, commercial, wealth management, etc, etc. Perhaps specifically tailor your cover letter to a specific focus of the program. Read up on the program and perhaps find an aspect of the program that interests you, and then discuss why you would be a solid fit.
A sentence like - "I am impressed by your track record in investment banking and wealth management and would like to learn of what it takes to be successful within your firm. " Is just a BS sentence (again not to be mean). Omit any fluffy sentences like that, and replace them with something they don't know.
Resume - 1) Change the last words of the objective to "and financial services" or something along those lines. 2) Think about formating it a bit. Look online at different resumes formats, and make use of divider lines, bold font, italics, etc. 3) Given that this is your first internship (and you don't have much experience), perhaps discuss different projects or assignments you did in your business classes that might be relevant to the internship. Can describe accounting or marketing project work. 4) Again sentences, your summary of qualifications is awkward. Don't start a sentence with Also. I know this sounds anal, but people look at these things are it reflects poorly on you. A lot of PWM involves being professional (especially in front of a client). Remember you want this resume to reflect you, so its vital for you to eliminate all grammer mistakes, etc. Have a professor look it over, or someone at a writing center.
Overall focus on detail, sentence structure, grammer, and content. Read up on the company and the industry a little more. You come off not knowing too much about PWM or UBS, needs a lot of work. Don't take any of this as offensive, but good luck! Let me know if want any additional help.
