Early Insight Programs on Resume?
Should you put early insight progams on resume, even just the name of event at the bottom, for programs that you have to interview for and are selective.

I would say save that for the Cover Letter if it’s a specific bank. My opinion would be hard no on resume.
My friend in college did this when he was recruiting for junior internships without a freshman or sophomore finance internship. He got basically all interviews from EBs because (I think) the resume scanning software picked up on those key words in diversity program names. Keep in mind he was diversity and at a top target, but it's rare to get past all resume rounds for EBs and PE internship programs nonetheless.
All I'm saying a line in the "Other" section won't hurt too much if you need the extra boost.
What kind of resume scanning software do they use?
Absolutely, you should! These Early Insight Programs are not just informative sessions, they can indeed serve as a pipeline for summer recruiting. They're selective and competitive, which means being accepted into several of them is a noteworthy achievement.
When it comes to adding them to your resume, you can list them under a section like "Professional Development" or "Leadership & Activities". Make sure to include the name of the program, the company that hosted it, and the dates you attended. If there were any significant projects or learning outcomes from the program, feel free to include those as well.
Remember, every bit of experience counts and these programs can definitely give you an edge. They show your proactive approach and your commitment to learning more about the industry. So, go ahead and flaunt them on your resume!
