Undergrad Junior Biochem Major - Resume

I've lurked around here for a while, but this is my first time posting.

Just a little information about myself, I'm in biochem major at a Canadian non/semi target (Canadian banks, pension plans, some boutiques recruit but not too many positions). I became interested in finance near the end of first year, but my marks were too bad to switch into a different program. I have improved my marks by a lot since then, but it took too long in order for me to switch programs so I decided to stick it out in science.

I do have some work experience but it's not too relevant to finance (ideally I would like to do ER, but I'd be open for any FO position I could get and I would only be looking for positions in Canada/mainly Toronto). I have started reaching out to alumni as well.

Any suggestions/feedback on what I can do to fix my resume (tear it apart)?

Thank you!

Thanks for your comment. I think its possible in Canada because to get a honours degree you just need to take more required courses than a major and get a certain grade which I meet (I also checked my transcript and it says Honours on it).

You wouldn't happen to have any more questions or feedback about my resume?

Bachelor of Science, Honours Biochemistry looks a little awkward. There may be a better way to phrase it (Bachelor of Science with Honours, Biochemistry?)

Move IB Diploma and CSC up to the Education section. That is your weak section and they will strengthen it, versus getting lost at the bottom of the page.

Move Excel (Wall Street Prep Course) to Technical Skills. On the sports, if you were on collegiate teams make that clear. Find a different name for Activities, that sounds a little juvenile. Or you could add them to Interests.

I'd add a sentence or two at the top describing the type of job you are looking for and why. You don't want to cold open with the biochemistry degree.

Internships look pretty good.

Good luck.
