Chances at deferred US MBA from Tier 2 Consulting

Hi all,

Considering applying for the top US business school’s deferred MBA programs (HBS, Stanford, Wharton) and a few up and coming ones (think Yale).

Wanted to have an idea of my odds/evaluate if it’s even worth applying for it in 2020

A little about me:
- Will graduate from Oxbridge in 2020 with a 3.8 equivalent in a STEM subject
- Holding offers from a few tier 2 consulting firms (At least in the UK - think S&, OW, EYP, Monitor)
- Fairly strong extra-curriculars (sport, leadership, volunteering) but nothing extremely outstanding (compared to what I’ve heard people apply with, eg. Started a micro finance initiative in Uganda)

Essentially - do I have decent odds based on the above to make applying worth it? And if not, what sort of experience/evidence will be needed?

Have considered GMAT scores etc but will worry about the score when I sit the actual exam! (Shooting for 730 or so)

Any advice/feedback would be much appreciated
