Comparing undergraduate schools. NEED HELP CHOOSING
Hey, for a job placement perspective, what do you believe has better placement in ib or top finance/consutling: Northeastern, NYU CAS (prob econ major), or Boston College CSOM?

Career Resources
All good options, but I'd probably go NYU.
any reason?
NYU is an extremely toxic school full of hardos and I would never want to go there in a thousand years regardless of placement. He didn't get into Stern so it will be an uphill battle anyways. I would go either BC or Northeastern, both are non-targets but I see a few more BC people on the street so maybe BC?
Congratulations - you got into decent schools.
First and foremost, I would optimize cost. If you are taking out student loans or anything along those lines, I would choose the school that has the cheapest option. I roughly think that these schools are roughly equivalent tier, and it's not justified to pay another 40k for a marginal bump in prestige.
However, all else considered, I would choose Northeastern. I have some friends who go to Northeastern, and they are having a blast. Granted, at all of these schools, you have to grind your way to the top - unfortunately, these schools are semi targets, so it's really on you. But the co-op program at Northeastern is pretty unique and I've seen people leverage that into some decent shops.
NYU might give you an edge, just by purely being in NYC. However, there are so many Stern Kids who are grinding for those spots, that I would be hesitant to commit to that location.
CSOM is decent, I haven't had much exposure to them. So, oddball, but I would opt for the other two.
thanks that was helpful
I’d personally avoid NYU. I love living in NYC, but am glad I got to have a normal college experience on a campus that isn’t right in the middle of a city. Plus everyone who goes to NYU is weird
NYU probably the best career option here by far. CAS kids who immerse themselves in the hardo culture of stern and network hard place pretty decently. But don't do it man, Stern culture is pretty fucking terrible and its even less fun when you feel you're competing against all those kids with a handicap.
