Considering a masters to break into IB from a non-traditional background

Hi,
I am an engineering student in India from a mediocre university. I don't have any relevant finance-related experience but I want to break into IB. I am considering getting a master's in finance or related from either US or UK.
Will it be a good decision given my background?
Any suggestions for universities and other are welcomed.
