ESADE Business School BBA vs UCL BA History, Politics and Economics

Hey everyone,

I need some advice on choosing between two university programs: the Bachelor of Business Administration at ESADE Business School and the BA in History, Politics and Economics at University College London.

ESADE Business School BBA:

Pros:

  1. Price: Generally more affordable.

  2. Weather: Sunny Barcelona.

  3. Difficulty: Rigorous but manageable.

Cons:

  1. Languages: Need to learn an additional language (Spanish or German).

  2. Prestige: Not as globally recognized as UCL.

  3. Interest and Career Prospects: Concerned about being limited to business roles.

UCL BA in History, Politics, and Economics:

Pros:

  1. Prestige: Globally recognised and highly regarded.

  2. Language: Entirely in English and possibly able to bank on my Eastern European language fluency tho not entirely sure.

  3. Interest: Aligns more with my interests in multiple disciplines.

Cons:

  1. Department Concerns: Worried about the focus on Eastern Europe (SSEES) potentially limiting future opportunities.

  2. Location: London is expensive and has less favorable weather.

Has anyone here attended either of these programs? What were your experiences like? How did it impact your career prospects? Any insights would be greatly appreciated!

Interested in IB AM and possibly MBB entry roles. Look forward to which one will have the best prospects.

P.S : Im fluent in English and French (and born and raised in Romania so also native speaker and Easter Europe background tho politics not aimed until possibly mid-late career. And also tho price is taken into account its not a determine to based my career path)

Thanks!
