ESCP MIM or INSEAD MIM

I am applying for the last application round of the MIM program, whether at INSEAD or ESCP. I have limited amount of money and I have to only apply to one of them, but it is really hard for me to choose. INSEAD MIM is a bit new and doesn't have a rank in the FT, but INSEAD has a good brand here in the Middle East, when it comes to its MBA program, but I don't know about its MIM. ESCP, though, doesn't have that strong name as INSEAD here in the Middle East, but I see its program as stronger due to diversity in the topics. I have a bit low GMAT score, but within the range for both schools, so I have the same chance to get accepted. I am also considering all options of whether to work in a top consulting firm or an investment bank, if I got lucky enough. So, what is your opinion and which program to go for?

Try HEC MiM or LBS/LSE, they are stronger especially for the middle east. Insead is new and ESCP brand will not help you. If I were you I would wait one year and apply early round next year to those I mentioned to you. One year is nothing and over the long term can make a big difference :)

I understand ur point. I already applied for HEC Paris and it is my first choice, but I am afraid of not getting accepted, especially because my GMAT score is a bit low.

I have to apply this year, cuz I am already old for the MIM program and that is my last chance to apply or I would have to wait for an MBA and that would take another 2 or 3 years and I want to take a step now to join consulting or investment banking.

I understand ur point that INSEAD MIM is new, but can u explain to me how an ESCP MIM would not help me in the Middle East??

I already saw ESCP graduates working in top consulting firms in Dubai and top investment banks in London. So, kindly, explain your point of view to me

ESCP is good but not top notch compared to the above. But objectively yes it can help you at this point of your career. However for the middle east the logical step is to go towards UK schools like LBS or LSE

Insead is a target for their MBA but not (yet) for their MiM program. Out of the two, ESCP is the best choice but then other choices exist that make more sense :)
