GMAT - erasable notecards
Anyone recently take the GMAT and have any experience using the erasable notecards they give you for scratch paper? I looked over mba.com, and I couldn't find any details.
Any info as to how large they are/did they affect your test-taking at all. I'm assuming it will be a non-issue, but just wanted your opinions.
Non-issue. It's the same size as a A4 sized paper. MBA.com didn't have details because it really isn't important. You don't even have to erase them yourself, just give it to the administrator and get a new one.
I found it to be a significant annoyance when taking the exam. My erasable pen did not write well and I had to hold it straight up and down in order to write. Needless to say I wasn't used to do math this way. In the end, it probably doesn't affect your score, but you'll take a few minutes to adjust which can be a pain if you are tight for time.
Just an update, I took the GMAT yesterday at a Chicago testing center, and it ended up being a non-issue. May vary from center-center, but the pen worked well. The testing conditions actually beat my expectations - they even gave me earplugs.
