Graduate a semester late to get a double major in finance and engineering?

Looking for some advice as I try to figure out my career/education path.

I go to NYU, and am currently on track to graduate in 4 years total (potentially 3.5 if I speed it up) with a major in electrical engineering and minors in business and math. Long term I hope to break into a TMT group or the qualitative side of a hedge fund. I am passionate about engineering, but don't want to stay for long as most engineers hit their maximum earnings pretty quickly.
