INSEAD MIM VS HEC-X DATA SCIENCE FOR BUSINESS

Little Background: 21 y.o., did my Bachelor at Bocconi, worked in a fintech startup, joined a prestigious Consulting Boutique during third year summer internship, I speak 4 languages (ita, spa, fr, eng), did my exchange in Lyon, France;

Wanna work in Tech // Consulting and then go for VC // Accelerators // Startups  in Europe (Especially London, Paris)

What do you suggest? One course is very technical but I like maths. The other is a master's in management but the alumni network of INSEAD is actually insane and more global than X-HEC.

What do you suggest? Please comment since I am profoundly confused because both programs are amazing!

I like also the HEC MiM, but it's 2+1 years, the class is huge, staying in the french countryside to study business does not really excite me, and i wouldn't grow a lot of growth in terms of education due to my business background. Instead, the Polytechnique - HEC degree is way better in terms of content, salary post programme, entry selection, alumni network (you benefit from the network of the best engineering and commercial schools in France)

Did my mba at insead. We were the first to see the mims come through. It’s a very new programme, you won’t have enough data to say anything. What I will say is that the mims get to participate in our clubs. Honestly I was jealous that opportunity wasn’t available to me. A lot of well connected kids on their own.

be mindful, doesn’t cater well to finance careers due to recruiting cycles etc

Just go to INSEAD, you will be a second class citizen at HEC-X since you did not go through the French path
