Valuation experience in IB recruiting
I'll be attending a target MSc in Finance in Europe next summer (target but NOT top). By the time recruiting season starts I will have had approx. a year of valuation experience at a big4 firm. I am rotating between Oil & Gas, Financial Service, and TMT. I like the work even though it's extremely excessive (I work IB hours basically) but I can't stay for long in order to avoid conscription. Also IB in my country is hot trash.
As I said, the master's isn't really top notch and the school's network (in London) is pretty limited. Having secured experience has been worrying me for too long b/c that's where most MSc students fumble, especially in Europe where students have already have internships in IBD. I also have a corporate banking internship from 2019. Question is, is it enough for IB? What can I do to make it stand out?
