Warwick or Edinburgh Mfin
Hello, I have recently got offer from both of these uni.
I'm a non EU candidate who'll be studying at one of the university mentioned above for MSc finance.
I'm stuck in a dilemma as to which university to pick. I want to know if my chances to break into IB in the UK right after my Master are better if I decide to go to Warwick or should I choose Edinburgh over it.
The pros e con of these uni
Warwick
Pro: semi target school, wbs is very famous
Con: located outside London so not easy to network/find job. Low Qs rankings
Edinburgh
Pro: high qs ranking, located in the UK second financial hub
Con: rearch oriented teaching, difficult to get high grades
wbs definitely a different league compared to edinburgh imo.
but both arent in the target level of lbs lse oxford hec so can’t say if either are worth it
Yes exactly, they are not on a par with target schools. That's why I was wondering if it's worth choosing wbs over Edinburgh (at least it's located in a more pleasant city to live in)
uhh edinburgh is probably a more pleasant place to live than coventry but beauty is in the eye of the beholder i guess.
Absolutely agree with you!
I just worry that Coventry being an out-of-town location it can be more difficult to network and find internship opportunities
well u should do more research on it but id bet warwick has a much much better careers outcome than edinburgh.
