Warwick Vs University of Sydney

Hi everyone, I'm a student with a passion to work in quantitative finance area.

I have a conditional offer from Warwick and an unconditional offer from Sydney. After realizing the importance of computer science/programming in quants finance, I started thinking it might be better to go to Sydney which allows to me to major in both computer science and financial mathematics.

I'm not considering getting jobs straight after university, but do these unis allow me to study mathematical/quantitative finance at one of the prestigious unis such as Oxbridge, Imperial, ETH etc..?

I will really appreciate it if you guys could advise me on this!

Thank you in advance.

both will suffice, warwick and sydney are above average, both will get you into those courses. all the best in quant man, i find the field interesting and want to pursue it but i dont think im smart enough lol

Oh yeah saw your other post, if you really like programming, Cs with finance, go Sydney because their course aligns with your goals and your motivation won't die halfway in uni. Warwick course is very different BTW and since both will take you where you want, go Sydney, course suits your personality. If you want warwick, no problemo but I say Sydney course won't let you down
